  4. Oh! Krista, this is such a beautiful, beautiful tribute. I hope you had a wonderful weekend. I love how you crafted this piece..it is beautifully layered and so striking. I'm always impressed, Krista, always!

I wish you a lazy-day kind of summer to come. I had two grumpy girls this past weekend (not enough sleep I think), and so hopefully we both will get some happy kids for all of summer..how can we not? Always great to check in on your blog and visit..hope you have been well!

  5. Beautiful Krista, this reminds me of when my son was small, preschool age I think and they were learning the Pledge of Allegiance. The teacher was teaching them that it was "invisible" instead of "indivisible". My son argued with her about it. Yes, she argued that it was supposed to be "invisible". So, I sent in a copy of the Pledge on a poster that I purchased as a gift for the class. This would have made a much prettier gift than the one I sent in. The teacher was very sweet about it, especially when I explained that he is always right and always argues with everyone about everything! I still haven't broken him of it. He's 14 now, I guess I should give up on that one. :)
