Illustration Friday-- Wilderness


An assortment of wilderness images.  The dog sled team and the ice climber are very tiny, each about 2 inches tall.

Love the color tones that you put in your fish and your contrast is remarkable. Perfect for the theme. You are so talented!

  6. I love the woodsy textures & quilted composition of the first, & I'm a sucker for anything miniature-- the sled team is especially striking with its narrow vertical format-- almost totemic!

I really, really like the designs of your pieces and your ability to create almost like a beautiful tapestry of images that are all executed so beautifully and then work well as one piece...great work!!

  21. Wow, you have a gorgeous, gorgeous blog! These are incredible paintings. And I nearly fell off my chair when you said some of these were two inches tall! The detail is amazing! Truly wonderful work. I really love your teacups and teapots, too. I have a thing for teacups. Great work!
