Illustration Friday-- Wilderness


An assortment of wilderness images.  The dog sled team and the ice climber are very tiny, each about 2 inches tall.

Love the color tones that you put in your fish and your contrast is remarkable. Perfect for the theme. You are so talented!

  6. I love the woodsy textures & quilted composition of the first, & I'm a sucker for anything miniature-- the sled team is especially striking with its narrow vertical format-- almost totemic!

  11. Wow, what a treat, Krista! And it's neat to hear of the size of your pieces...such great detail at that size. I really, really like the designs of your pieces and your ability to create almost like a beautiful tapestry of images that are all executed so beautifully and then work well as one piece...great work!!

  12. I like the warmth of the first, it has a quilt-like patch quality. Almost like it belongs in a comfortable den.

    But regarding the last two.. how did you ever squeeze so much into such small pieces?! =D
