Yes, it has the traditional nursery rhyme beauty, when Cadmium Red was really Cadmium Red.The multitude different textures and the wonderful arabesques make this a great work :) !
Awwww! So sweet Krista! You turned a down word into an up word... how clever of you! This is so bright and cheery! I love it! Your patchwork borders are simply stunning and amazing! Oh I never revealed my truth... No it wasn't driving Bob Newhart.(although I did meet him once) It was Chaka Kahn letting me use her microphone. I was a busboy at the time...it was cool!
Awww so cute! Such a lovely happy picture, and I can soooooo relate. Thankfully my boys are past the crying stage but I remember them well!!! Great work!!
that drawing is so ... snug-a-boo, Krista! It captures everything that every kid ever wants to hold onto, and very well! Thanks for the comment on my "expired" piece — funny about that being David Lang's truck!
How sweet! You've captured that moment so well!!! I love the quilted pattern border, it works perfectly with your illustration. Your work is just so polished and gorgeous!
Thanks for popping by my blog and wishing me well! :)
Okay, I'm sitting here laughing so hard cause girl don't you know my little one was colic and it darn near drove my husband and I crazy. Even the poor cat couldn't take it. You my talented friend have captured the blissful moment when all that goes out of the window and you are so glad that you have been blessed with such a bundle of joy. This is so very beautiful and full of such promise. I love your color palette it works so beautifully. Oh, as for poor Rodney, girlfriend sent him some Proactive. When the boy used it his face cleared up and then he thought he was too good for her. Rodney is in for a real nice surprise he he he he!!
I love all the little details like the coffee and the glass.Your work is magical.Thank-you for visiting my blog. ~Deb~ ( My four babies are adults now, but I remember the bliss when the crying stops) Love your work
